“Fallen Angel” costume help: Could I burn some white angel wings?
I’d like to give the burnt effect to some white, feathered angel wings but I’m afraid it will totally backfire on me. What do you think? Has anyone tried this?
I think burning would not get the effect you are looking for. I would have the wings misshapen and find something to dirty them with, maybe coffee grounds, or stain them a bit with tea already made.
If you are wearing tights or pantyhose, you could put runs in them, also hair that looks disheveled.
I would even paint some teardrops from my eyes, and have small crystals at the tips f them glued with some halloween face glue.
Some loose feathers scattered about your outfit would work. As if they came apart.
