how to use continuous lights for portable studio photography?
What do you mean by continuous? If you are referring to something other than flash then they are Tungsten and they are easy to use because you see the shadows and highlights straight away, just remember to set your camera to tungsten setting or everything will come out with a reddish tinge.
tungsten lights are used in the same way as flash except they are on all the time, use your meter to take an ambient reading not a flash reading of course and go from there.
