Painted Photography Backdrop

Help with creating my own photography backdrop that incorporates the sky?
I am a photographer and I am setting up a booth at a hot air balloon function. I have everything I need but the backdrop. I need a quick/inexpensive idea for a backdrop. I have found it nearly impossible to find a hot air balloon backdrop but am weary of painting my own backdrop. I need some ideas!
Not enough information provided. is it at an event such as a fair or in the country? You can always use white seamless then photoshop a good background later. An other alternative is artist painted canvas, or using a real sky background…
