Where to have medium format film developed in Western North Carolina?
What is the best place to have medium format film deveolped in western North Carolina? I am willing to travel to Charlotte or Asheville (I live about midway between the two cities).
What i am looking for is a specific place that someone can recommend from experience. Yes, I can call around – that is easy to do and I will do that. Just want to know if there is a lab that you know that does excellent work. Thanks!
There is Camera World in Charlotte. There used to be Carolina Color, but someone told me they are out of business now. In Spartanburg there is a little pro lab in the Pinewood Shopping Center downtown (the name may be Pinewood Lab, but I’m not sure.) PhotoQuik in Asheville used to do med format, I think. There is also a lab on Tunnel Road in Asheville (again, can’t remember the name, sorry!) My mentor sent his med format to a lab in Winston-Salem.
You and I are from the same area. The consumer outlab service is either the Qualex lab in Atlanta, or the Fuji lab in Norcross, depending on where you drop it off from.
