Lighting Tent Soft
I need help with my digital camera and a soft light box, please?
I have purchased a soft light box tent thingy and I cant get my camera settings right so I can take a photo of an object and it apears as if there is no background just white/blue/red color. When I take a photo you can see the background cloth and it looks slilly.

The main thing in getting your background to disappear, whether in a “product box” or full length portrait, is to evenly light the background at the right power to wash it out without washing out the entire picture. A couple of things need to happen for this to work. One: if the background is fabric, it needs to be stretched somewhat taught so as not to create little shadows in the folds of the fabric. Two: either have a dedicated light source for the background, or shoot the light such that the subject doesn’t cast shadows on the background. I haven’t played around with still life boxes, but I’ve seen them and read some stuff, so take it for what it’s worth. As I recall the typical arrangement is to shoot a stobe in from the top to cast an even field, which is ok if the front surface of your subject is flat, or to light from both sides to evenly illuminate and fill in shadows. In a larger setup with a subject and “sweep” background, there would be a strobe used to light the background and fill all shadows from the key light.
