What’s the best (& cheapest) way to buy silica gel packets to protect family treasures (photos, papers, etc?)
We’re talking family memorabilia here. Some of my stuff is in sealed military trunks, the rest is in heavy-duty cardboard boxes which I’ve lined with plastic bags.
I’ve tried several sources on the Internet, but they are set up to serve big manufacturers, shippers, etc. and don’t have much of a selection for the general public. Thanks very much for any comments or hints. I THINK I’m looking for something like 40-50 gram packets, but am still open to any suggestion. Thanks again.
If people can sell guns in your state, then go to a sporting-goods place that sells gin safes. They always have an assortment of gel packs for sale, asnd canesters that can be “reclaimed” in the oven.)
If you do not have such stores, google for stores that do mail business (google gun safe), and you can order all you want…
