Fuji Superia Reala Film
May 2nd, 2009

What is the best slide film to use for portraits of people outside of the studio?
I was thinking about using velvia 100F for this. Right now I use Fuji Superia Reala 100 but was looking for a slide film.
Does velvia 50 work alright with people that are not caucasian (I know for caucasians it makes peoples skin look rather red). Is velvia 100f alright? Anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Maybe I am talking out of school, considering that the only colour film I shoot is transparency, but my friends who shoot portraits swear by negative film. They say it is more friendly to the lines on women’s faces and easier to correct if necessary.
