Flash problem with sony H2?
the camera triggers the flash 2 times per shot in all modes (M,A,S…). in the manual says its for light calculation, is there any way to force it to flash once per shot? i want this to use a slave flash unit but it turns to be out of sync because of the first dummy flash.

Even without turning on the red eye reduction, your camera will still fire two flashes very quickly. The pre-flash is used for exposure calculation and the second flash is the real one for photo taking.
You need to buy a digital slave flash which can be triggered by the second flash.
