The Samsung E900 is a smart slider camera phone. Its touch sensitive keys magically light up when touched and subtly fade away when not used. It is a tri-band GSM phone which automatically switches between GSM 900/GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 networks. It is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom and flash.
The E900 has touch sensitive square keys with a slider design. The device has a 262 K colour touch-sensitive TFT-LCD display. Its screen has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixel. Its TV-out feature allows you to view your videos and photographs on your TV. The device’s Bluetooth support allows you to print wirelessly with a PictBridge-compatible printer.
The device has 80 MB of internal memory which can be further expanded by using a microSD memory card. Its Document Viewer allows you to see popular file formats like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HTML. It has a Li-Ion 800 mAh standard battery that has a talktime of upto 3.5 hours and a standby time of upto 220 hrs. The device weighs 93 gm and measures 93 x 45 x 16.5 mm. The device has support for Bluetooth and EDGE. Its WAP browser supports ACC, ACC+ and WMA formats.
The camera phone’s uMenu feature gives you a one-click access to a personalised selection of your most frequently used features. Just click the top navigation button to recall or modify these features. The smartphone’s Offline Flight Mode feature allows you to access your songs, image or video clips without any hitches when you are on a flight. Its phonebook can store upto 1000 entries.
The E900 is available in three colours – black, silver and gold. The smartphone’s ingenious user interface keeps its keypad invisible when the device is not in use. Its interface allows you to unleash an array of powerful multimedia functions. Slide open the device and its sophisticated interface will direct your attention to the selected menu item. The menu icons appear in vibrant colours against a black or white backdrop. Its glass-like touch screen comes with a glossy minimalist finish that gives it a cool and sleek outer appearance. Just touch the keys and watch them light up magically!
